Đảo ngữ câu điều kiện (Should, Were, Had) và các cấu trúc biến thể trong IELTS
1. Bản chất & Tổng quan lý thuyết
Đảo ngữ câu điều kiện (Inversion in Conditional Sentences) là kỹ thuật lược bỏ liên từ IF và đảo trợ động từ hoặc modal verb (Should, Were, Had) lên trước chủ ngữ.
Lợi ích vượt bậc của Đảo ngữ câu điều kiện:
- Xóa bỏ tính đơn điệu của từ IF: Tránh sự lặp lại nhàm chán của liên từ If trong các bài luận dài.
- Mang sắc thái trang trọng, học thuật (Formal Tone): Thường xuất hiện trong các văn bản ngoại giao, hợp đồng kinh tế và bài viết học thuật cấp cao.
- **Điểm nhấn ngữ pháp đắt giá trong IELTS Writing Task 2 và bài thi THPT Quốc Gia điểm 9+.

3. Phân tích lỗi sai kinh điển (Common Pitfalls)
- Lỗi rút gọn 'Hadn't / Weren't / Shouldn't' ở đầu câu:
- Trong đảo ngữ câu điều kiện, KHÔNG ĐƯỢC VIẾT TẮT phủ định ở đầu câu.
- Sai: Hadn't we arrived on time, we would have missed it.
- Đúng: Had we not arrived on time, we would have missed it.
- Lỗi quên thêm 'TO' trong đảo ngữ loại 2 với động từ thường:
- Sai: Were the company reduce prices, sales would increase.
- Đúng: Were the company to reduce prices, sales would increase.
- Lỗi chia động từ số ít sau Should: Should he comes (SAI) -> Should he come (Đúng).

- Mẹo nhận diện nhanh 3 dạng đảo ngữ:
- Nhìn đầu câu có SHOULD + S -> Động từ theo sau luôn là V-BARE (Loại 1).
- Nhìn đầu câu có WERE + S -> Động từ theo sau luôn là TO-V (Loại 2).
- Nhìn đầu câu có HAD + S -> Động từ theo sau luôn là V3/ED (Loại 3).
